Children get day off after school fire

A number of students at a Sunshine Coast school are getting a day off after fire destroyed their classrooms.
Classes for Years 2 and 3 at Caloundra West Catholic school on Monday have been cancelled after a fire on Sunday destroyed one block and damaged another, a Catholic Education spokesman said.
The classes are expected to resume as usual on Tuesday using alternative accommodation within the college.
