Charges mount over Gold Coast boiler rooms

Nine people have now been charged as part of an eight-month investigation by Queensland's corruption watchdog into Gold Coast investment frauds.
The Crime and Corruption Commission on Thursday charged a 42-year-old man and laid additional charges against a 34-year-old man regarding boiler room operations based in Bundall.
It comes after Operation Unwind in March began a crackdown on fraudulent sales schemes being run in the Gold Coast area.
