Cement mixer plunges down Qld embankment

A driver has had a lucky escape after his cement mixer plunged down an embankment in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Authorities now face the difficult task of hauling the weighty vehicle back onto the road after it went over the embankment on Mt Tamborine Road, at Tamborine about 6am on Friday.
The route will be closed between 9am and 1pm while crews recovery the vehicle. The driver wasn't hurt.
