Man remains critical after out-of-control Brisbane house party
A man remains in hospital fighting for life on Monday after an out-of-control house party in Brisbane on Saturday night where police were allegedly pelted with glass bottles.
Riot squad officers and the police helicopter were called to Ney Road and Wildflower Street in Capalaba just after 10pm after neighbours said gatecrashers stormed an 18th birthday party.

Some revellers allegedly started throwing bottles at the attending officers as dozens of others dispersed through neighbouring properties and down the street.
One man, believed to be a parent, who suffered a medical episode at the scene and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, remained in a critical condition on Monday afternoon.

A 16-year-old girl, who collapsed having suffered a suspected overdose, was taken to Redland Hospital but has since been discharged.
One teenage boy will appear before the courts next month.
Police want anyone with CCTV, home security or dashcam footage to come forward.
