Cairns teens in alleged violent robbery

Two 15 year old boys have been charged over a violent car robbery in Cairns which left a man with facial injuries.

Police allege a group of teenagers assaulted and robbed a 36-year-old man as he approached his car on the Bruce Highway in Woree early on Sunday.

One teen was charged with various offences, including assault and armed robbery, while the other, who was not involved in the robbery, was charged with unlicensed driving and unlawful use of a stolen vehicle.
