Bushwalker missing in wild Qld weather

Wild weather has forced authorities to suspend a search for a bushwalker missing in a national park on the Queensland-NSW border.

The man, aged in his 60s, went bush walking in the Lamington National Park on Wednesday, but failed to meet up with friends at 2pm, as agreed.

A search was launched and authorities managed to make voice contact with him late on Wednesday, but contact has since been lost and a landslide on the national park's access road is stopping searchers from getting back in.
