Man charged over Brisbane shooting

A man will face court over the shooting of a security guard at a Brisbane business.
The security guard was shot in the ankle while patrolling the business at Everton Park just after 1am on Friday.
Police say the 62-year-old guard was confronted by a man and was shot when he refused to hand over his car keys.

Police have charged a 26-year-old man with a string of offences, including attempted armed robbery and discharging a weapon in a public place.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon.
