Brisbane man, 26, charged after stabbing

A man has been charged with stabbing another man in the chest during a fight at a home south of Brisbane.

Police found a 23-year-old man with a stab wound after being called to the Slacks Creek home about 8.35pm on Wednesday.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

On Thursday, police charged a 26-year-old Carina Heights man with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

He will face Beenleigh Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
