UPDATE: Tourist sparks security scare in Brisbane CBD

A suitcase found at the NAB bank in George Street that triggered a bomb scare was put down to a tourist with limited English leaving their luggage unattended.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said the suitcase was deemed non-suspicious and has been returned to its owner.
Roads had been closed along part of George Street after the suitcase was found in the bank opposite Brisbane's Supreme Court complex.
The tourist was taken into custody for a short time before he was released without charge after what police called a misunderstanding. The area has since been reopened.
Some of the buildings in the area were evacuated as a precaution.
