A 25-year-old man was allegedly threatened with a blowtorch and pliers by three men in Queensland who forced him into a vehicle and made him contact a family member demanding money.

The incident began around 12.30pm on Sunday when a man went to an address in Strathpine, where three men known to him allegedly threatened him before forcing him into a car and driving him around the area.

Police allege the man was forced to text and ring a family member requesting money, but the family member contacted police who found the vehicle about 3.45pm and arrested three people.
