Bandit in ice hockey mask robs Qld servo

A robber armed with an iron bar and wearing a ice hockey mask like the one featured in the Friday The 13th horror films has terrorised a Queensland service station worker.

The staff member was forced to barricade himself inside an office after the masked robber smashed his way into the servo at Aroona on the Sunshine Coast just after midnight on Monday.

Police are still hunting for the offender who stole food and cigarettes. The staff member wasn't physically injured.
