Baby stable after being hit by 4WD in Qld

A baby boy is in a stable condition in hospital after being hit by a four-wheel drive on Queensland's Sunshine coast.
The one-year-old suffered head and abdominal injuries when he was struck on sand at Teewah Beach, near Noosa, on Monday afternoon.
He remains in a stable condition after being flown to Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital with his mother by his side.
