Axe-wielding man robs Brisbane hotel

A masked man wielding an axe has robbed a hotel in Brisbane's south.
The man fled on foot after successfully demanding cash from staff members at the venue on Ipswich Road, Annerley, about 11.10pm on Wednesday, police say.
Investigations are continuing.
