Australian arrested in Bali over alleged immoral act facing deportation
A Queensland mechanic who allegedly had sex with a woman in a Bali driveway is expected to be deported from Indonesia on Friday.
Billy Aspinall was flanked by officers on Thursday as he was hauled into an interrogation room.

The 27-year-old has told police he was in Bali with friends for a four-day pre-wedding celebration when he met the woman at a beach club.
It’s believed the pair had been drinking together for several hours before the alleged daylight rendezvous in a driveway on Saturday.
Aspinall claims the encounter was spontaneous and he was so intoxicated he couldn’t remember the woman’s name.
North Kuta police labelled the incident as “an immoral act”.
No charges have been laid but a traditional Balinese cleansing ceremony has been held outside the home owner’s property.
The resident doesn’t want to pursue the matter any further but has called for the mechanic to be deported.
“It’s not on purpose, I do understand it’s kind of accidentally, because they are drunk, just came back from the beach club,” lifeguard Wayan Suyadnya said.
“They accidentally doing that kind of action, out of their awareness, we do understand that.
“We really expect this kind of situation not happening again in the near future.”
The Australian man was placed on a watch list for public indecency and facial recognition technology led officers to intercept him at Denpasar Airport.
It is understood Aspinall, from the Sunshine Coast, had been preparing to board a flight back to Brisbane.
The woman from the alleged incident was yet to be identified.
9News reports the 27-year-old’s parents were trying to come to terms with what had happened and were yet to speak to their son.
The penalties for public indecency in Indonesia range from fines to up to a year in prison.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade told 9News it was providing consular assistance.
