Aussie Invictus Games athletes return home

A team of 40 wounded former and current defence force athletes will receive a hero's welcome when they touch down in Brisbane from the Invictus Games.
The entire Australian team will arrive early Monday morning at Brisbane International Airport from the games in Florida.
The veterans-turned-athletes will bring home 16 medals, including five gold, five silver and six bronze in powerlifting, rowing, field and swimming.

The Invictus Games, created by Prince Harry, see wounded armed services personnel and veterans represent their countries in a Paralympic-style multi-sport event.
Australia is bidding to host the 2018 event.
