Attempted murder charges over Qld fire

A woman accused of trying to murder six people by setting fire to a Brisbane unit has had her charges upgraded.

The 26-year-old was initially charged with arson and endangering property after a Coopers Plains residence was torched on Saturday afternoon, causing extensive damage.

Six counts of attempted murder were later laid against the woman, who faced Holland Park Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

She is due at Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 16.
