Asbestos fears at Queensland house fire

Authorities have set up an exclusion zone at the scene of a house fire on the Sunshine Coast amid asbestos fears.

Emergency services were called to the fire at Dulong, west of Nambour, about 11am.

Those inside fled the Queenslander, which was fully alight when firefighters arrived.

Police say an exclusion zone of about 20 to 30 metres has been established around the home due to suspected asbestos.
