Armed robbery at tavern in southeast Qld

Two men brandishing a rifle and a knife have robbed a tavern at Springfield in southeast Queensland.

Police say the pair threatened a man and a woman working at the Springfield Parkway business at around 10.30pm on Saturday before fleeing with cash.

The offenders were wearing hooded jumpers, balaclavas and gloves.

No one was injured during the robbery.
