Apology to Reece Harding's family

In July this year, a video was uploaded to 9News.com.au that contained text which incorrectly referred to anti-ISIL fighter Reece Harding as an "ISIL recruit".

While the rest of the coverage referred to Reece Harding correctly, the incorrect text appeared on a related video in an article.

Channel 9 apologises unreservedly to Reece Harding's mother Michele Harding and the rest of his family for the error. We are reviewing our processes to ensure a similar mistake cannot occur in the future.
