Two men charged with the rape of a drunken student boasted to friends about their sexual encounter with her in a Brisbane alley, a court has heard.

Jack Scott Turner Winship and Ryan David George have been on trial at Brisbane District Court this week, where the jury has heard they engaged in sexual interactions with a woman in April 2011.

Crown prosecutor Dzenita Balic has argued the men manoeuvred the woman into an alley to rape her and targeted her because she was staggering drunk.

The defence team, however, said everything was consensual and the woman, who can't be identified, was an active participant.

"She was enjoying herself," Turner Winship said.

After the alleged rape the woman told a witness two men were trying to hurt her but when he confronted them, one bragged of a sexual encounter in an alley.

And after the pair met friends at a pub they again boasted about what had happened.

"We had a sexual encounter, so yeah, we told our friends about it," Turner Winship said while being questioned by Ms Balic on Friday.

"We had no reason to not tell anyone."

The trial continues.
