Alleged Qld drink driving cop stood down

A central Queensland police officer has been stood down, accused of drink driving while off duty.
The 30-year-old male constable from the Central Region is facing allegations he was driving while over the alcohol limit at Airlie Beach on Sunday night, a statement from the Queensland Police Service says.
He will appear in Proserpine Magistrates Court on January 4 and is also the subject of an internal investigation.
