Alleged cannabis house tenant fronts court

A man accused of converting an entire Brisbane home into a cannabis nursery has been remanded in custody.

Huong Cong Tran faced court on Friday on two drug-related offences, among others, after an anonymous tip-off led police to a Durack rental home allegedly fitted out as a sophisticated marijuana plant the day before.

The 21-year-old has been remanded in custody and is expected to reappear in the Richlands Magistrates Court via videolink on November 19 for a committal hearing.
