A worker who claimed to be the victim of a violent heist at Brisbane International Airport was allegedly in on the crime.

Drazen Knezevic, 48, faced Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with stealing as a clerk or servant.

Police allege Knezevic was among at least three people who staged a robbery at the airport business in 2009 where $60,000 was stolen.

At the time of the crime, Knezevic claimed he was hit with the butt of a knife during the robbery.

It was claimed the robber had posed as a security guard to gain entry to the business before attacking Knezevic and fleeing with the cash.

Police allege Knezevic and his accomplices shared the spoils of the crime.

Knezevic, who indicated he will fight the charges, has been granted bail under his own undertaking.

The matter has been adjourned until April 13 for mention at the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

Two other people, a 32-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, were charged last year with receiving tainted property.
