Two Malaysian nationals will appear in a Sydney court accused of possessing a haul of crystal meth with an estimated street value of $128 million.

The pair, aged 24 and 25, were arrested in Roselands, NSW, on Friday, with Australian Federal Police officers finding more than 100kg of methamphetamine in six cardboard boxes inside two cars.

One of them was found be be living in Australia unlawfully, and officers also seized multiple mobile telephones, identification documents and a substantial amount of Australian currency.

The men will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday charged with possessing a commercial quantity of an unlawfully imported border controlled drug, an offence that carries life imprisonment and a maximum $1.35 million fine.
