Adorable bilby triplets melting Qld hearts
AAP
Rare baby bilby triplets have emerged from their mother's pouch at Dreamworld with the pitter patter of tiny paws melting even the hardest of hearts.
Adorable vision of the triplets shows the playful trio in their enclosure ahead of their release into a fenced area at Curruwinya National Park where they will be safe from predators.
The three-month-old bilby triplets will shortly be named and have boosted Dreamworld's bilby population to 14 in total.

Bilbies were once widely spread across Australia's desert country but now only occupy about 20 per cent of their former range.
