Man injured in chemical spill at Queensland school

A man has been injured in an acid spill at a school in Queensland.

The accident occurred at Logan Reserve State School in the south of Brisbane.

Emergency services were called to the school at around 7.35am with reports of a small chemical spill on a bathroom floor.

Queensland Ambulance Services treated a man at the scene who reportedly had a chemical splashed in his face.

He has since been transported to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

Fire services cleaned up the spill and conducted atmospheric monitoring to ensure the school was safe.
