Accused Toowoomba teen murderer in custody

A 19-year-old charged with the murder of Toowoomba teenager Jake Lasker has been remanded in custody.
Kyle Mitchell Dumesny did not appear at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday morning when his case was adjourned until July 2.
He is the second person to be charged over the death of Mr Lasker, 19, in November 2012.

The teenager was found dead with cuts to his neck and torso in his family home in Rockville.
In the months before his death, Mr Lasker had been given the all-clear after an ongoing battle with eye cancer.
Max Peter Smith pleaded guilty to the teenager's murder and was sentenced to life in prison in 2014.
