Accused paramedic basher in Qld court

The case against a young patient accused of bashing a paramedic returns to a Brisbane court.

The 21-year-old woman allegedly attacked the 41-year-old female paramedic at a Brisbane pub on January 24, leaving the medic with a bruised and swollen face.

The woman has been charged with assaulting a public officer causing harm, and assaulting a public officer while they are performing their duties.

Her case is listed for mention in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
