Accused cold-case murderer faces Qld court

A man accused of the 25-year-old murders of two Queensland men who were allegedly minding substantial marijuana crops for him has faced court for the first time.
Russell James Williams, 51, was charged on Monday with the murders of Robert Grayson and Derek Van Der Poel, who were last seen alive in Gladstone in May 1993.
Grayson, 26 at the time, and Van Der Poel, 23, were reported missing in 1994.
More than 100 people have been questioned as investigations continue and the national park has been searched several times but the men's bodies have not been found.
A $250,000 reward remains in place for information.
Williams faced Gladstone Magistrates Court briefly on Tuesday and the matter was adjourned to April 10.
He has been charged with two counts of murder and drug production.
