Qld woman allegedly spat on, punched cops

A woman has been charged with assaulting police after she allegedly spat on one officer and punched another at a Gold Coast casino.

Officers say the woman refused to leave Jupiters Casino at Broadbeach when asked to by staff early on Monday morning.

When police stepped in, she allegedly spat on one officer and punched the other in the mouth.

She has been charged with assault and obstructing police and is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
