Qld teacher diagnosed with whooping cough

A relief teacher in central Queensland is the latest to be diagnosed with whooping cough after three Brisbane schools were affected last week.

Frenchville State School and Mount Archer State School in Rockhampton advised parents of the infection in identical Facebook posts on Thursday morning.

"Notification about potential whooping cough exposure will be sent out to the class who had the supply teacher diagnosed, today. Apologies for the delay - we needed the advice of Qld Health," the Facebook posts said.
