Qld pedestrians hit by 'drunk' tourist

A young German tourist is due to front a Cairns court on Monday, accused of running down two pedestrians while drink driving.
The 19-year-old allegedly crashed into two pedestrians who were on a footpath about 2.30am on Sunday morning.
The injured men, both 18, were taken to hospital with leg injuries.

The tourist is due to front the Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday, charged drink driving, dangerous driving, and driving while his licence was disqualified.
