Qld man pleads guilty to daughter's murder

A Brisbane father has pleaded guilty to murdering his six-year-old daughter at the family's home in 2015.

Sidney Playford was found dead in her bedroom by her mother on the morning of September 7.

Her father, Stephen Phillip Playford, on Wednesday pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court to her murder.

Playford will remain in custody and be sentenced in the same court on December 20.
