Qld man hacked US firm, sold info: cops
A Queensland man has been charged with singlehandedly hacking a US computer game developer's network.
Police allege the man, 21, stole information from the firm's databases and sold it online.
He also hacked its Twitter account and posted confidential information and screenshots online.
The man was arrested on Wednesday following a police raid at a Kingaroy property in November, where laptops and a hard drive were seized.
An encrypted container on a computer device was also seized at a Poona property on Wednesday.
Officers say the FBI and the US company helped with the investigation.
The man has been charged with multiple counts of computer hacking and misuse, fraud and property offences.
He's due to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court on April 8.
