Woman charged with manslaughter after man 'falls' in Maleny

A woman has been charged with manslaughter after a man died in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

The 63-year-old man was found slumped outside his Maleny home about midday on Tuesday after reportedly falling.

He died a short time later in hospital.

A 39-year-old woman who was known to him spent Tuesday afternoon being interviewed by police.

She was charged with his manslaughter on Wednesday and will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court.
