Queensland Labor government to be sworn in

Annastacia Palaszczuk will be sworn in as the 39th Premier of Queensland today.
The electoral commission declared Labor the winner of the election and Ms Palaszczuk was invited to form government by Governor Paul de Jersey yesterday afternoon.
The premier-elect and her team of ministers will be sworn in at Government House in Brisbane this morning.

The make-up Ms Palaszczuk's 14-member ministry has not been announced.
Key contenders for portfolios include the nine Labor incumbents and some ministers who lost their seats in 2012 but were re-elected.
