Qld govt won't change first home grant

Queensland's government won't make any changes to the first-home buyers grant in the state budget.

Treasurer Curtis Pitt says there will be no change to the grant, which gives home buyers up to $15,000 for their first property purchase, in his budget next month.

"The grant will continue to play an important role in helping first-home buyers purchase or build a new home," he added.
