Qantas international flight carrying 400 passengers makes U-turn
More than 400 passengers will be put on a replacement flight today, after their plane from Sydney to Johannesburg in South Africa was forced to turn around.
The Qantas A380 passenger jet was four and a half hours into the flight and over the south of Tasmania when it turned back to Sydney last night due to a fault with satellite communications.
No mayday or any emergency call was made.

All passengers were offered accommodation and are expected to complete their journey to Johannesburg by taking another flight at 1pm today.
A Qantas spokesman said the carrier thanked the passengers for their patience and understanding.
