Pyne spruiks Aust-made defence gear in UAE

Defence Industry Minister Christopher Pyne is off to the United Arab Emirates to talk up Australian-made military equipment in the hope of ramping up exports.

Mr Pyne will attend the International Defence Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi this weekend..

He hopes to be able to announce new contracts Australian companies are winning overseas to export defence equipment.
