Shots fired, guns dumped and men on the run after Sydney service station argument

Three firearms have been found dumped in a drain following a shootout between two gangs at a carpark in Sydney’s south.

It’s believed a group of men were engaged in an argument at a Shell service station carpark on Forest Road at Bexley around 3am today when a second group of men armed with guns approached them and began shooting.

Police are searching for the gunmen who fled the service station after the shooting.

A witness from a nearby apartment block, who did not wish to be identified, heard up to six shots.

Police are seeking to clarify if anyone was hurt.

A crime scene has been established.
