Man dead after ute crashes with truck on Queensland highway
A man has died in a two-vehicle crash at Proserpine north of Mackay in Queensland overnight.
A ute was travelling north on the Bruce Highway at about 8.35pm, police believe.
Just south of Glen Isla Road, the ute collided with a southbound truck.

The driver of the ute, a 74-year-old Proserpine man, died at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
Investigations are ongoing.
