A line of baby rattles have been recalled over a potential choking hazard.

Yorie and Co's wooden stick rattle, 13cm long by 3cm high, and the same company's wooden cage rattle, 7cm long by 7cm high, are both subject to the recall.

Product Safety Australia said the toys did not comply with size requirements for the safety standard for toys for children aged three years and under.

The safety body warned that there was a risk of "choking, suffocation, or death" to young children, if they continued to use the rattles.

Customers are advised to immediately stop using them.

They should destroy the rattle and contact Yorie and Co for a full refund.

Yorie and Co can be reached via its Etsy store or on email.
