Probationary officer on stalking charges

A probationary police officer in the NSW Hunter region has been charged with stalking.
Police say the male probationary constable, attached to the Northern Region, was issued with a court attendance notice on Thursday for the offence of stalk/intimidate.
The officer will remain on restricted duties and appear in Newcastle Local Court next month.
