Private sector to drive Aust aid

Julie Bishop wants the private sector to get involved in Australia's aid program in developing countries.

The foreign minister says government and private sector partnership is "the first of its kind for Australia's aid program".

"I believe private sector involvement is imperative," Ms Bishop said in Sydney on Monday.
