* Triple J's 1989 Hottest 100 was the first time in the countdown's history an original and a cover appeared in the same list. Prince's Kiss appeared at #34, beaten by the cover version from Art Of Noise and Tom Jones at #24.

* On Prince's 1992 tour he sold out six shows at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Demand for more shows was so high a seventh date was added at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

* Aside from his official tour dates, Prince played about 10 late-night Australian "after-shows" at smaller venues during his four tours.
