A Perth dad is fighting for life after a brutal street clash that has put him in an induced coma.

Police have released new footage of the man they want to speak with about the incident.

The father-of-three was one of two men knocked unconscious in Fremantle, after a scuffle broke out outside a bar on Saturday night at South Terrace.

Officers say a fight broke out at about 11.20pm. The offender walked away but was followed by three men.

He then allegedly struck two - a 43-year-old and 48-year-old - knocking them both to the ground.

The younger man got back to his feet, but was struck again.

The injured pair’s friend, a 36-year-old man, confronted the attacker but was also allegedly punched in the head.

The 48-year-old dad remains in a critical condition at Royal Perth Hospital suffering head injuries.

His family say his 10-year-old daughter can’t understand why he won’t wake up.

The 43-year-old was also taken to hospital but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.

The third man escaped with minor injuries.

Police are urging for the public’s help as they hunt down the alleged attacker.

Video footage from the night shows him walking away from the scene along South Street.

His face can be seen more clearly in the new footage and police are hopeful someone might recognise him.

He’s described as being Caucasian, aged in his 20s, with fair skin, a stocky build and with a mullet hairstyle.
