A pregnant woman and her husband fled as an armed robber smashed into their waterfront unit in Sydney's inner west.
The 42-year-old woman was sleeping in the lounge room of their Drummoyne unit when she woke to see a man standing outside the back door in the early hours of Tuesday, police say.
Although she screamed, the man began smashing the glass sliding door with an unknown object.

The couple fled the unit, running to the waterfront, while the intruder ransacked the home before escaping, police say.
Anyone who saw suspicious behaviour is being urged to contact police.
