P-plater caught doing 168km/h in an 80km/h zone in Melbourne's north
A P-plater has lost his car after he was allegedly caught speeding at 168km/h in an 80km/h zone in Melbourne's north.
Police allegedly detected the 21-year-old driving at more than double the speed limit on Plenty Road in South Morang about 11.20pm yesterday.
They pulled his silver Holden over and interviewed the Fawkner man for offences including conduct endangering life and conduct endangering serious injury.

Police impounded the car for 30 days at a cost of $895.
