Power network 'will need $1t investment'
AAP
Australia's electricity networks could need up to $1 trillion of investment by 2050 to meet the country's energy needs.
An interim report by the CSIRO and the Energy Networks Association said the money was needed regardless of whether customers were providing their own energy or buying it from the grid.
But the ENA told the ABC on Thursday that does not mean Australians will face higher electricity bills.
