Possible stabbing witness comes forward

A man who witnessed the stabbing of another man at a Logan shopping centre has come forward following a police appeal for information.

A passer-by discovered the 25-year-old victim with stab wounds to his stomach following a fight at a shopping centre car park on Beenleigh Rd in Underwood, southeast of Brisbane, on Monday evening.

Police say a man captured on CCTV, who they believed may have witnessed the incident, has since come forward and has spoken to them.

He is not a suspect.

The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.
